Learn how to make assorted stuffed vegetables in a sophisticated and easy way, step by step, in an easy and simple way, as the stuffed dish gains great importance on the Egyptian dining table in particular and the Arab table in general, and whatever the method in which it is prepared, many have agreed that it is one of their favorite foods, especially since it has many types to satisfy all tastes, as it is possible to make stuffed cabbage or grape leaves or zucchini and eggplant and peppers and tomatoes and potatoes, and the stuffing can be prepared with or without minced meat as desired.
How to make stuffed vegetables:
Ingredients:
- Oil.
- An appropriate amount of rice.
- Eggplant.
- Zucchini.
- Pepper.
- Tomatoes.
- Tomato juice.
- Finely chopped parsley.
- Onion.
- Finely chopped dill.
- Green coriander.
- Butter.
- Tomato slices.
- A spoonful of tomato sauce.
- Soup for cooking.
- Salt, black pepper, dried coriander and spices.
Preparation steps:
- We prepare the vegetables by cleaning and washing them well, taking care to keep the tomato and pepper heads, as the vegetables will be covered using them after stuffing.
- We put an appropriate amount of oil in a pot on the fire, then add the onions and stir until they wilt and change color.
- We add the tomatoes and continue stirring until they thicken, then we add the chopped coriander and dill and stir well.
- We add the rice and spices to the previous ingredients and stir well, then remove the stuffing from the fire.
- Then we start the process of stuffing the vegetables one by one, then we work on arranging them in the pot in which they are to be cooked, and we make sure to cover the peppers with heads, and the eggplant and peppers with pieces of tomatoes, then we put pieces of butter on the face of the stuffed vegetables.
- Prepare the soup, spices and a spoonful of sauce in a plate and mix them well, then pour the mixture over the stuffed vegetables in the pot on the fire.
- After the contents reach the boiling point, reduce the heat and leave the stuffed vegetables until fully cooked, then empty them into the serving dish.
How to make stuffed grape leaves:
The method by which stuffed grape leaves are made is almost similar to the method of stuffed vegetables, but the difference is in the method of cooking the grape leaves themselves, but it can be prepared very easily by following the following steps:
Ingredients:
- A quarter of a kilo of grape leaves.
- Two tablespoons of olive oil.
- 2 chicken stock cubes.
- Half a lemon.
- Soup.
Preparation steps:
- We bring a suitable pot for cooking, then put in it an appropriate amount of water with two drops of oil.
- After the water reaches boiling point, we put the grape leaves after washing and cleaning them well in the boiling water, and leave them for a short period until they become soft only.
- We remove the grape leaves from the fire, then put them in a strainer and leave them aside until they cool.
- We start the process of stuffing the grape leaves with the previously prepared stuffing, and a few leaves should be placed at the bottom of the pot so that the stuffed vegetables do not stick during cooking.
- After that, the fingers of the stuffed grape leaves are arranged in the pot, then a spoonful of oil and a spoonful of lemon juice are placed on them.
- Chicken broth is added to a cup of lukewarm water and poured over the stuffed vegetables and left to boil, then the heat is reduced until the stuffed vegetables are cooked, then it is served.
